- Track cancellations that happen before the second renewal as their own rate, separate from overall churn, so an onboarding problem doesn't hide inside a blended monthly number.
- Route an early cancellation request toward swap or a variant change first, and only fall back to skip, pause, or cancel if the subscriber says the product itself isn't the issue.
