# Judge.me

> Connect Judge.me to Appfox Product Bundles to show star ratings in bundle widgets and trigger review requests for bundle orders.

Appfox Product Bundles integrates with [Judge.me](https://apps.shopify.com/judgeme) so shoppers see social proof on bundle offers and you can use Judge.me’s review-request flow for bundle purchases.

## Connect Judge.me

    Install **Judge.me Product Reviews** from the Shopify App Store and collect reviews for the products you sell in bundles.

    In Judge.me, open **Settings** → **Integrations** → **API token** and copy your private API token.

    In Product Bundles, open **Settings** → **Integrations**. Paste the token into **Judge.me private API token** and click **Connect Judge.me**.

Your token is validated against Judge.me, encrypted, and stored per shop. It is never sent to the storefront.

## Options after you connect

| Option | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Show star ratings in bundle widgets** | The product page widget loads average stars and review counts for bundle products. Ratings are fetched on the server and cached. If Judge.me is down, the widget still works without ratings. |
| **Send Judge.me review requests for bundle orders** | When a Shopify order includes verified bundle line items, Appfox calls Judge.me’s `send_manual_review_request` API for each bundled product. |

Use **Disconnect Judge.me** to remove the saved token and turn both options off.

## What shoppers see

When star ratings are enabled, bundle widgets show a compact rating next to each product in the offer (for example, `4.7 (12)`). This uses Judge.me product data for the Shopify product IDs in the bundle.

## Troubleshooting

**Could not connect to Judge.me**

* Confirm Judge.me is installed on the same Shopify store.
* Copy the private API token again from Judge.me → **Settings** → **Integrations**.

**Ratings do not appear**

* Check that **Show star ratings in bundle widgets** is on under **Settings** → **Integrations**.
* Make sure the products in the bundle have published reviews in Judge.me.

**Review requests are not sent**

* Turn on **Send Judge.me review requests for bundle orders**.
* Judge.me still controls email timing and eligibility; configure those rules in Judge.me.
